These are the base rates for regular users from OKX’s global fee framework that took effect in November 2025 and the futures fee adjustment notice of April 2026. OKX also says actual rates can differ by region, so check the Fees page after verification.

2. What buying xStocks really costs

Take a 100 USDT xStocks order. A market order is a taker order at 0.1%, so 0.1 USDT. A limit order that rests and fills is a maker order, so 0.08 USDT. Selling is charged the same way. Against Bybit’s separate xStocks tier of 0.2%, OKX is half the price.

Then add the deposit leg. The P2P premium on USDT usually runs 1% to 3% above the interbank rate, which is the merchant’s spread, not an OKX fee. xStocks are bought with USDT directly, so there’s no swap to pay for.

3. How VIP lowers fees

VIP goes by asset balance or 30-day volume, whichever qualifies. A regular user holds under 100,000 dollars with 30-day spot volume under 1,000,000 dollars, and the futures line is 5,000,000 dollars. VIP 1 cuts spot to 0.0675% maker and 0.08% taker. Ordinary readers don’t get there. Just know it exists.

4. The referral code and fees

OKX’s referral code gives two things: new-user welcome rewards in the Rewards Center, and a fee rebate set by the referrer. The rebate rate is set by the referrer and can only go up once set. This site’s link is set to the top tier, up to 20% on spot, as shown on the sign-up page. The rebate is calculated trade by trade and paid to your account.

5. FAQ

Does swapping USDT to USDC on OKX cost anything?
No. USDC/USDT is a zero-fee pair. If you’re converting USDT to USDC to withdraw to Bybit for real stocks, OKX is the cheapest place to do it.
How much does it cost to withdraw USDT?
A network fee per chain, shown on the withdrawal page, with a small platform maintenance portion inside it. TRC20 and BEP20 are cheap, ERC20 is far dearer. If your balance covers it, the fee comes out of the balance, not the withdrawal amount.
What's the difference between maker and taker?
A limit order resting on the book waiting to be filled is a maker order at 0.08%. A market order, or a limit order that fills at once, is a taker order at 0.1%.
Is there a fee for cancelling?
No. Nothing is charged on the unfilled part.
