· 3 min read

Bybit spot is 0.1% for both maker and taker, derivatives 0.02% and 0.055%. Real stocks are commission-free but carry a 0.1% service fee, with a minimum of 0.5 USDC under 500 USDC. xStocks sit in their own tier at 0.2%. P2P is free for the buyer, deposits are free, and withdrawals carry a fixed fee per coin and chain. This site's referral code brings new-user task rewards, not a fee rebate.

These are the base rates for non-VIP users from Bybit’s official fee page, updated September 2026. Bybit also says actual rates can differ by region, so check “My Fee Rate” after verification.

2. What buying US stocks really costs

Take a 100 USDC real stock order. The 0.1% service fee comes to 0.1 USDC, but the minimum is 0.5 USDC, so 0.5 is charged. Above 500 USDC it’s a straight 0.1%, so a 1,000 USDC order costs 1 USDC. Selling is charged the same way.

The same 100 USDT in xStocks: 0.2%, so 0.2 USDT.

The same 100 USDT in a perpetual (taker): 0.055 USDT, plus the funding fee every few hours.

Then add the deposit leg. The P2P premium on USDT usually runs 1% to 3% above the interbank rate. That isn’t Bybit’s fee, it’s the merchant’s spread. Swapping USDT to USDC on spot is 0.1%.

3. How VIP lowers fees

VIP level goes by asset balance or 30-day trading volume, whichever qualifies you. VIP 1 cuts the spot taker rate to 0.08% and the derivatives taker rate to 0.04%. The top tier, Supreme VIP, has a spot taker rate of 0.045%. An ordinary reader’s yearly volume won’t reach VIP 1. Just know it exists.

4. The referral code and fees

Bybit’s referral code doesn’t rebate fees. On Binance and OKX the referrer passes part of their commission back to you. Bybit works differently: you sign up with the code, complete deposit and trading tasks yourself, and claim USDT rewards from the Rewards Hub. The tasks and amounts are whatever the Rewards Hub shows.

5. FAQ

Is zero commission on real stocks for real?
The commission is zero, but there’s a 0.1% service fee with a 0.5 USDC minimum on small orders. Cash dividends also have 30% US withholding tax taken off, which is tax, not a fee.
How much does it cost to withdraw USDT?
A fixed fee per chain, shown on the withdrawal page. TRC20 and BEP20 are usually around 1 USDT, and ERC20 is far dearer. To another Bybit account use internal transfer, which is free.
What's the difference between maker and taker?
A maker posts a price and waits for someone to fill it. A taker fills at the market price straight away. On spot both are 0.1%; on derivatives the maker rate is cheaper.
Is there a fee for cancelling?
No. Nothing is charged on the unfilled part.
